Account Executive – Enterprise Software Sales (AE142)
Swift Software is seeking an experienced software sales professional to join our innovative, energetic, and entrepreneurial team and to fill the role of Account Executive – to support Enterprise Software Sales. Account Executives are responsible for full cycle business development and sales including regular weekly prospecting activities, generating qualified direct sales and partner leads and opportunities, and managing qualified opportunities through the process to complete timely sales. Inbound leads are also provided as they may arise. Account Executives are also responsible for executing smooth hand-offs of new clients to training, professional services, and support. In conjunction with Marketing, Account Executives are also involved in strategic efforts to expand existing markets and to develop new markets for our Lean BPM product, JobTraQ®. Related professional services are offered, scoped, and executed by our own internal Professional Services team. The position is an onsite position operating out of our corporate headquarters in Frederick Maryland.
Swift’s sales team is results oriented, interacting directly with client and prospect decision makers and influencers to make the sale. We focus on prospects in Financial Services, Energy, and Business Process Outsourcing. Our targets range from operational groups in heavy industry like oil and gas, to large knowledge worker and multi-discipline process teams in traditional office environments. The sales process includes researching and identifying prospects, making first contact, analyzing requirements, and determining fit and applicability for the JobTraQ solution. This position requires dynamic written and verbal communication skills, a detail oriented approach to solution selling, disciplined sales process execution, and energetic presentation and closing skills. Our sales team helps our prospects visualize JobTraQ being a solution to their needs through interactive and custom demonstrations as well as on-the-fly discussion and demonstration of relevant examples. A diverse business process and technical acumen is required in order to quickly grasp a prospect’s needs and desires and translate those desires into solutions “before their eyes” using JobTraQ’s extremely agile and dynamic task management, workflow, and business process capabilities. These capabilities combine to make us an early mover in the emerging Lean BPM sector. Pre-sales engineering resources are available to build customized demonstrations or to support a qualified prospect’s enhanced evaluations (POC, Pilots, etc.), but Account Executives must be technical enough to be able to clearly articulate and effectively demonstrate the product’s core capabilities on their own.
Account Executives receive formal product training but a commitment to ongoing self-guided product expertise is also required. Experience within the BPM, Workflow, Process Consulting, Task Management, or related marketplaces is highly preferred.

Desired Skills & Experience
The best candidates for this role will possess prior software sales experience with a proven ability to generate leads, meet quotas, and close opportunities in complex sales cycles. Tech savvy, and a wide familiarity with workflow, business process management, and systems implementation or professional services sales is a plus. A diligent, well-disciplined, and process based approach to building and managing a pipeline is required and measured as high visibility and accountability are an ingrained part of our culture. In other words we are seeking a diligent professional with a strong work ethic who is not afraid of operating with a high degree of freedom, but under a very high level of transparency regarding all facets of sales activity from prospecting and forecasting, and note taking through to competently closing high quality sales. Our sales team typically interacts directly with forward thinking business leaders, team managers and owners, project managers, IT professionals and systems integrators or internal developers on the prospect side, and professional services and development staff from within our own team in the process of closing Enterprise sales.
